1. Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bounteer (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1.2 Account Registration & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and notifying us immediately of unauthorized use.

1.3 User Responsibilities

  • Do not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service.
  • Do not harass, spam, or abuse other users.

1.4 Intellectual Property & License

All software, branding, and content belong to Bounteer or its licensors. You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions, and content you submit, but grant Bounteer a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

  • Use and process your data to deliver match scoring and reports.
  • Create anonymized or aggregated insights for research, product development, marketing, and commercial purposes.
  • Develop new features and upsell future products that may benefit you.

1.5 Payments & Credits

Paid features may be provided on a credit or subscription basis. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law. Payments are securely processed through third-party providers such as Stripe.

1.6 Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bounteer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.

1.7 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any lawful reason, with reasonable notice where possible.

1.8 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the website.

1.9 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of London, United Kingdom.

  • Personal Data: Name, email, CVs, job descriptions, messages, account info.
  • Usage Data: IP address, device info, pages visited, time on site.
  • Payment Data: Processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card details).

2.2 How We Use Your Data

  • Deliver and improve the Services.
  • Generate role fit scores and reports.
  • Train and improve AI models.
  • Create anonymized datasets for research, analytics, and marketing insights.
  • Communicate service updates and promotional offers (with opt-out option).
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security.

2.3 Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

  • Contract: To provide you the Service.
  • Legitimate Interest: Product improvement, AI research, analytics.
  • Consent: Marketing communications, cookie usage.
  • Legal Obligation: Record keeping and compliance.

2.4 Data Sharing

We share data with hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors, and AI research partners (in anonymized or aggregated form unless explicit consent is obtained).
